β’ 3 packets of ladyfingers β’ 100ml of espresso coffee (homemade or store-bought) β’ 250g of mascarpone cheese β’ 1 teaspoon of rum extract β’ Cocoa powder β’ Nutella
Instructions:
- Crush the ladyfingers until theyβre fine crumbs; using a food processor can make this easier.
- Pour in the coffee, then mix in the mascarpone cheese and a hint of rum extract.
- Stir the mixture thoroughly until well combined. If you prefer, you can also knead it by hand.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to cool, making it easier to handle later on.
- After chilling, shape the mixture into small balls. Flatten each ball slightly, place a dab of Nutella in the center, and then reshape into a ball.
- Roll each ball in cocoa powder. To get a uniform coating and shake off excess cocoa, you can use a small sieve.
- This recipe yields approximately 15 balls. They can be enjoyed immediately or refrigerated for a firmer texture.
