Chicken Alfredo Pasta

Chicken Alfredo pasta is a classic Italian-American dish that combines tender pieces of chicken with a creamy Alfredo sauce and pasta. Here’s a simple recipe to make Chicken Alfredo pasta at home:

Ingredients:

8 oz (about 225g) fettuccine pasta
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:

Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken strips to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. SautΓ© the garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the heavy cream to the skillet. Stir well to combine with the garlic.

Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.

Return the cooked chicken strips to the skillet with the pasta and sauce. Toss again to combine, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the unsalted butter until melted.

Serve the Chicken Alfredo pasta hot, garnished with extra grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Enjoy your delicious homemade Chicken Alfredo pasta!
