Broccoli Cheese Burgers (Makes 4):

Ingredients:

2 medium-sized broccoli crowns
2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (or alternatively, oatmeal)
Salt to taste
Optional Filling:

30-50g of soft cheese (we used mozzarella)
Instructions:

Preparation of Broccoli:

Thoroughly rinse the broccoli crowns and submerge them in boiling water for approximately 8-10 minutes, or until they become tender.
Preparation of Mixture:

Once cooled slightly, trim off the stems from the broccoli and ensure you squeeze out as much water as possible.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened broccoli, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs (or oatmeal), and salt. Stir until all ingredients are uniformly blended.
Shaping the Burgers:

Begin shaping your burgers. For an extra cheesy delight, place a small piece of mozzarella (or your preferred soft cheese) in the center of the burger and encase it with the broccoli mixture.
Cooking Options:

Pan-Frying: Cook each side on a pan for approximately 5 minutes until they’re golden brown.
Oven-Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 200Β°C using the fan mode for around 15 minutes.
Air Fryer: Set the air fryer at 190Β°C and cook for about 12 minutes.
