STRAWBERRY NUTELLA PASTRY BRAID 🍫

Ingredients:

1 sheet of puff pastry
Nutella
Strawberries, sliced
1 egg, for the egg wash
Chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:

Start by preheating your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
Let the puff pastry sheet thaw at room temperature until it’s easy to handle.
Spread Nutella in the middle of the puff pastry sheet.
Place sliced strawberries over the Nutella.
With a knife or a pizza cutter, make diagonal cuts about 1 inch apart along the sides of the pastry sheet. Trim off the corners.
Fold the top edge of the pastry over the filling.
Begin braiding the cut pastry strips over the filling. Before braiding the last few strips, fold the bottom edge of the pastry up, over the filling.
Brush the braided pastry with the beaten egg, ensuring it’s well coated.
If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until the pastry turns golden brown and delicious.
Serve warm and enjoy this delectable treat!
