- Chocolate Cake Base:

- Add 50g of chocolate to the warm milk and cream mixture, stirring until fully melted.
- Mix in 2 tbsp of cocoa powder and 1/2 tsp of instant coffee into the mixture.
- Dissolve 2 tbsp of cornstarch in a small amount of cold milk to make a slurry and add it to the saucepan.
- Stir continuously until the mixture thickens. Once done, remove from the heat.
- Assembly:
- Pour the chocolate cream over the baked chocolate cake base, ensuring an even layer.
- Refrigerate the cake with the cream layer for 1 hour to set.
- Chocolate Topping:
- Melt additional chocolate in a microwave or using a double boiler until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the set cream layer and spread it evenly.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator until the chocolate topping is firm, about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
- Serving:
- Once the chocolate topping is set, cut the dessert into pieces and serve.
